It’s a flooded market in the aesthetic (or cosmetic) surgery market, with all kinds of new procedures available to lift, smooth, tuck and gloss every part of your body. The procedures are being refined and improved constantly, making them safer, less invasive, and easier to manage. Smart Lipo is an example of this trend.

After it is liquefied, it is dissolved without suction so that it is completely removed from your body. Both steps of the procedure are accomplished with the same medical instrument, which is about the size of a spaghetti noodle.
The procedure is done on an outpatient basis with a local anesthetic. It is a very precise procedure, since the doctor can aim the laser very exactly and is in complete control all of the time.
Because it is minimally invasive, Smart Lipo can be used on areas of the body that traditional liposuction is not used, such as the neck, the face, the back and the knees. This allows for a whole new dimension of toning and slimming than was available before with traditional lipo.
Many patients are concerned with the pain that may be associated with Smart Lipo, particularly if they have had unpleasant experiences with recovery from traditional liposuction surgery. However, the procedure is relatively painless. There may be some minor stinging or the impression of a tugging on the skin during the procedure, but even these experiences are minimal.
Because Smart Lipo uses a local anesthetic instead of a general anesthetic, recovery time is also quicker.
